The Sonoran journalist Federico Hans, better known as “El Güero Hans”, was the victim of a shooting attack on the afternoon of this Wednesday, July 17 in the municipality of Caborca, Sonora.
According to the first reports, the attack occurred when armed civilians opened fire on the independent journalist at the entrance to his home.
The Attorney General’s Office of the state of Sonora (FGJES) reported that the attack against the journalist occurred on July 17 at 5:30 p.m. in Caborca, when, while boarding his vehicle, Hans was the victim of several gunshots. right in front of his home.
The journalist survived the attack and was taken by family to an emergency hospital where he is reported to be in stable condition, with medical attention and police protection.
The authorities began the investigation file with the intervention of the investigative police and expert services, in order to establish the origin, authorship and circumstances in which the events were committed.
