Rosewood has unveiled its first standalone branded residential community in Mexico, and Robb Report got an exclusive first look. The luxury hospitality brand has announced the launch of the Rosewood Residences Old Lighthouse, a sprawling 550-acre development in Los Cabos.

The private estate is set near the southernmost tip of the Baja Peninsula and is being developed in partnership with the Coppel family—founders of Pueblo Bonito, a leading hotel and resort company in Mexico.

Once complete, the heart of the project will be El Faro Viejo, the landmark from which the property gets its name and the oldest standing structure in Cabo San Lucas.

Building on Rosewood’s growing branded real estate portfolio, the private bluff-top community will be designed by Mexico City-based architect Manuel Cervantes Céspedes and merge modern perks with the site’s storied past.

Altogether, the property will comprise 144 residences and a bevy of swanky amenities, including an on-site beach club, an athletic center, a clubhouse, and a wellness facility. Residents will also enjoy unrestricted access to a world-class, Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course.
