Livestock farmer found dead on the border of Chiapas and Tabasco

The lifeless body of a livestock entrepreneur from the town of Tecpatán was located this Thursday, April 4th, on the borders of Chiapas and Tabasco, near the Malpasito toll booth on the Ocozocoautla-Las Choapas route.

His name was Reynel Marín López, 66 years old, who was reported missing and whose photo had been uploaded to the portal Have you seen a, in which he referred to the fact that he was last seen in the La Asunción neighborhood, Tecpatán, Chipas, last April 1.

Authorities were informed that a lifeless person was found inside a Nissan truck that had been abandoned on the aforementioned route, so an operation was immediately deployed by federal forces and the state police of Chiapas and Tabasco.

Subsequently, the expert services attended to the situation, in which it was revealed that the lifeless person showed signs of torture, and his dead body was left inside the truck.

The man’s remains were transferred to the Tuxtla Gutiérrez coroner, where it was confirmed that it was Reynel, who had a search file, a fact that was regretted by the municipal authorities of Tecpatán, civil groups, and social organizations. , who joined in the grief that overwhelms the family.

For its part, the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has initiated an investigation file for the crime of qualified homicide against those responsible, pending clarification of this fact, which has shaken the society of this region of Mezcalapa.
