An Organizing Committee requested last August the facilities of Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario to hold the First Fiestas Patrias Fair, they would be in charge of marketing, hiring and generating a billboard for the event to be held from September 1 to 17.
Prior to the start of the event, an alleged billboard with various artistic presentations circulated on social networks that were not officially confirmed by the organizer, from which the Guanajuato Bicentennial Park is separated and that have not been presented so far. Given this, merchants hired by the organizers themselves expressed their disagreement and sought to contact them without obtaining answers.
“As Parque Guanajuato Bicentenario we regret the facts and the situation that the merchants are suffering. Through the Legal Area, they will seek to help those affected so that they can best solve this matter between individuals,” the statement read.
In addition, the PGB assured that it will keep its doors open to merchants so that we can receive visitors and tenants are less affected by the null response they have had from the organizing committee.
