AMLO meets with governors of Oaxaca, Veracruz and Guerrero

Oaxaca, Oax. President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met this afternoon with governors of some states to evaluate the progress in the construction of artisan roads.

The meeting was held at the 15th military air base, located in this capital, where the leaders of Guerrero, Evelyn Salgado; and from Veracruz, Cuitláhuac García, as well as the host Salomón Jara.

Through Twitter, the federal president reported this meeting, with which he closed his private activities that he had this Saturday as part of the tour he is carrying out through the state, which began in the morning in the region of the isthmus.

“Today we are supervising works on the Isthmus and evaluating the progress of artisan roads, as well as the construction of bridges and highways. I was accompanied by public servants of the federal government, the governors of Oaxaca and Veracruz, and the governor of Guerrero,” López Obrador tweeted, accompanying the message with a photograph with the three leaders.

The presence of the governors of Hidalgo, Julio Menchaca; Tlaxcala, Lorena Cuellar; and from Puebla, Sergio Salomón Céspedes. It could not be confirmed, since they did not appear in the photograph shared by the president on his networks.

On Friday, the head of the Executive began the visit to the south of the country through Chiapas, where he was at the Belisario Domínguez hydroelectric plant and the Angostura dam, in Venustiano Carranza. Later he supervised the progress in the construction of the Concordia bridge.

Later he moved to the isthmus, where he slept. This morning, in Salina Cruz, he led a meeting to verify the Interoceanic Train projects.

Hours later he supervised the works on the Mitla-Tehuantepec highway and after lunch he met with the state leaders.

This Sunday he will continue with the tour with the inauguration of one of those roads in the San Juan Lachigalla community; and will close with an assembly with authorities from San Vicente Coatlán.
