Metepec, State of Mexico. With the purpose of expanding actions that strengthen technical professional training in the automotive industry, Mercedes-Benz Mexico and the National College of Technical Professional Education (Conalep) renewed their alliance through a collaboration agreement for the 2023 generation of the New Talents Program.
This program seeks the development of young Mexicans through specialized and applied training, thus achieving the insertion of students in the world of work at Mercedes-Benz dealers throughout the country.
The signing of the agreement was carried out at the national offices of CONALEP by Jesús Rodríguez Paredes, director of Customer Services, and the Academic Secretary, teacher Hugo Nicolás Pérez González, accompanied by academic authorities and directors of the German firm, who put The 2023 program is underway with the selection of 27 scholarship holders, students of the Automotive Maintenance and Autotronics careers in Aguascalientes, Coahuila, Jalisco, Nuevo León, Sinaloa and the Decentralized Operation Unit for Mexico City.
Members of the 2023 New Talent Program can carry out paid professional internships at Mercedes-Benz agencies in positions such as:
- Maintenance technicians
- Electrical technicians
- Service advisors
- Autotronics
- Maintenance of electronic systems
- Administrative assistants
