“I was a candidate in 2005 for Mexico City. Of those of us competing, I am the only one who has succeeded Andrés Manuel. The only one who is not an enigma for him is Marcelo Ebrard; the others are a question mark, who knows what they will do, he already knows me, I was already his successor, ”said the chancellor.
In his tour of Tijuana, Ebrard recounted what the process was like to be elected candidate for the Head of Government of the Federal District 18 years ago by the Party of the Democratic Revolution (PRD).

The candidates for Morena’s candidacy for the presidency are known as “Corcholatas”, among which are the current head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum; the Secretary of the Interior, Adán Augusto López Hernández, as well as the Foreign Minister.
