A small plane crashes in the navigation channel in Mazatlán, a girl dies and the pilot is missing.

In the crash of a Cessna plane, in the navigation channel, near Isla de la Piedra in the port of Mazatlán, a two-year-old child lost his life and four other passengers, including a woman named Denisse Lorena “N” of 47 years were injured and the pilot is missing.

A report from the municipal authorities of Mazatlán established that this Saturday afternoon in Gloria, an aircraft with six people on board, four of them minors, plunged into the sea, apparently due to a mechanical failure.

Upon impact against the navigation channel, tourists who were enjoying a ride on catamarans and nearby boats, came to help them, so they first rescued the woman and three minors, two of them female who were traveling in the company of Mrs. Denisse Alejandra “N”.

The occupants of the aircraft notified the rescue teams and divers who went to the scene that the pilot’s son was traveling in the cabin next to the pilot, only two years old, and they did not know what happened to him.

The body of the minor was located in the cabin of the plane, which minutes after collapsing into the sea sank, on top of the pilot of the plane, whose identity has not been released, his whereabouts are unknown.
