2023, the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI) estimates investments of over three billion dollars in various projects. Miguel Ángel Lemus, the southeast coordinator of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals (AMPI), affirmed that these are both national and foreign investments focused on residential and hotel projects, which confirms the rise of the Mexican Caribbean as a recipient of investments in the same as in 2022, as revealed by REPORTUR.mx ( QRoo: two destinations led real estate investment in 2022)

“The growth that we have and the tourist boom make the destinations attractive to continue
building, considering that this year a greater arrival of visitors is also expected,” explained Lemus.

He added that the new state coordination of AMPI includes the destinations in the south of the entity, they will continue with the promotion, even now more focused on the work that is carried out with the Mayan Train and the infrastructure works “which are triggering more investments, since that growth and development continue, but above all, a renovation”, indicated the real estate expert.

He continued commenting that, in fact, some Spanish groups have already announced investments to build more hotel rooms, which would add more than five thousand rooms in Cancun and the Riviera Maya, which adds to the various real estate projects, since Quintana Roo also continues to be considered as a good place to live.

Last year the investment projection was 2,500 million dollars by the AMPI, and this year the estimated figure is higher, benefiting the construction sector, job creation, and economic growth.
