Mexico government will award Veracruz waste transfer center contract

Mexico’s Veracruz state is set to award on Tuesday a construction contract for a waste transfer center in Martínez de La Torre municipality. 

Bids were received on Monday by the environmental authority PMA, records on procurement site Compranet show.

Required are earthworks, road paving, surveillance booths, a potable water storage tank, electrification, a solid waste sorting machine, a rainwater collection cistern, and a compost system. 

Works are expected to start this week and end in March, according to tender call LP-21121017051-22-2022.
