They find two lifeless women in Mazamitla, in different events that occurred this Sunday morning.
A woman was found dead this Sunday morning in the municipality of Mazamitla.
The State Prosecutor’s Office reported that the finding was recorded around 08:30 am in a ditch on the side of the Jiquilpan highway, at the intersection with Galeana street.
At the site, they found a 35-year-old woman, with no vital signs, robust complexion, white complexion, dressed in an ink shirt, blue panties, and black and red tennis shoes.
Around her seven .233 caliber casings for an AR15 assault rifle were counted.
Upon the arrival of the police and paramedics, they confirmed that it was a lifeless woman, and that at first glance they observed bullet wounds, so they immediately notified the staff of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Forensic Medical Service to take charge of the investigations of the case and the removal of the body under the femicide protocol.
The second case occurred at kilometer 35 of the Mazamitla-Tuxcueca highway, at the height of the town of Puerto de Cuevas, four meters from the entrance letters to the community.
A 17-year-old girl was located at the site, wearing a pink dress and white tennis shoes, and had several bullet wounds.
In addition, they left her a cardboard with a message. Around her they found eight shell casings.
Data from the Executive Secretariat of the National Public Security System indicate that from January to September, 152 violent deaths of women were recorded, of which 22 were classified as femicide throughout Jalisco.
Meanwhile, according to the State Prosecutor’s Office, from September 2021 to September of this year, 12 people were killed in Mazamitla.
On September 24, five people lost their lives in a shootout in the Monteverde subdivision, in the municipality of Mazamitla.
It should be remembered that in Mazamitla, the National Celebrations were suspended due to insecurity in the area.
The violence in the area was unleashed after the massacre of 17 people in the community of San José de Gracia, in Michoacán, which occurred on February 27 of this year.
