The Sinaloa Prosecutor’s Office investigates the femicide of the 21-year-old influencer Karla María “N”, who was shot to death in the Tierra Blanca neighborhood, in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
This femicide caused a stir among the population due to the violence with which the woman was murdered and because she was a renowned creator of content on the Tik Tok network, where she called herself Karla Pardini.
The events occurred last Tuesday, September 20th, on the corner of Catedrático and Ignacio López Rayón streets, on the border of the Tierra Blanca neighborhood and the luxurious Paseo Alameda subdivision, of the Tres Ríos urban development, in the state capital Culiacan.
The woman was known for her content where she talked about fashion and clothing.
According to the authorities, the crime occurred after the young woman received a phone call, left her house, and walked to Catedrático Street where she was shot.
Witnesses indicate that they saw a group of armed individuals who arrived in the area just as the young woman was leaving her home and seconds later, shot her.
“The homicide of this woman has been registered as femicide because she was exposed and was defenseless when the attack occurred. We are conducting the corresponding investigation to find the possible suspects, “said Sara Bruna Quiñonez, prosecutor of Sinaloa.
According to the police report, the young woman had a temporary address in an apartment building in the Tierra Blanca neighborhood and it was around 10:30 at night when the attack was recorded.
“According to the data provided by her mother, she received a phone call, went outside and that was where the attack occurred,” said Sara Bruna Quiñonez, Sinaloa prosecutor.
The authorities have several lines of investigation to clarify the crime.
The body of the young woman was handed over to her relatives and was buried in the Jardines del Humaya pantheon in Culiacán, Sinaloa.
