Due to the state of the roads and the risk of rain, the Ministry of Public Education and Culture suspended classes for the evening shift.

The rains that occurred during the morning of Tuesday, August 30th, in Culiacán left at least 100 millimeters of water, reported geophysicist Juan Espinosa Luna.

On his Facebook account, the specialist in meteorological phenomena reported that from 09:00 in the morning and in some areas, it stopped raining almost at 12:00 noon.

Given the risk posed by heavy rains, as many roads were turned into streams, the Ministry of Public Education and Culture suspended classes for the afternoon shift today.

Since Friday there have been heavy rains in Culiacán, so it is recommended that citizens not take unnecessary risks and stay safe and avoid driving through areas where flooding is usually recorded.
