Yesenia ‘N’ allegedly participated in the murder of seven people in Boca del Río, Veracruz.
A woman was arrested in Durango as the alleged person responsible for the murder of a whole seven members of a family in Boca del Río, Veracruz, on July 3.
The detainee, Yesenia N, who is allegedly a relative too, was supposedly in an inheritance dispute with the now deceased.
The State Attorney General’s Office confirmed her arrest in the town of La Goma, municipality of Ciudad Lerdo, Durango, and she is facing seven charges of murder.
“The State Attorney General’s Office reports that agents of the Veracruz Ministerial Police, in Ciudad Lerdo, Durango, completed an arrest warrant against Yesenia “N”, allegedly responsible for the crime of intentional homicide to the detriment of seven people, three women and four men, including a minor, events that occurred on the night of July 3 of this year, at the corner of Calle Úrsulo Galván with Calle Covarrubias, in the 1º de Mayo neighborhood, municipality of Boca del Río, Veracruz”, reads the statement issued by the State Attorney General’s Office.
According to information provided by the Durango prosecutor, Daniel Rocha, the multi-homicide occurred in Boca del Río. Three women and four men were shot dead in the incident.
The authority indicated that the woman would be presented before a Veracruz control judge in order to carry out the procedure against her, as established by law.
According to EL PAIS, the massacre of the Boca del Río family was perpetrated by a group of heavily armed men.
It was known that the murdered family owned butcher shops in different parts of the area.
