Aeromexico desists from flying to Cancun and Villahermosa from AMLOs AIFA airport

Aeroméxico adjusted its route and frequency plans that will operate from the Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA) as of August 15, where the flight to Cancún, which it announced last May, no longer appears.

The flag carrier of Mexico highlighted that it continues with the strategic plan established to connect to the AIFA, and by August, this advance will represent doubling the offer of destinations in said airport, compared to what has been operated since March of this year when that new airport was inaugurated.

The flag carrier of Mexico highlighted that it continues with the strategic plan established to connect to the AIFA, and by August, this advance will represent doubling the offer of destinations in said airport, compared to what has been operated since March of this year when that new airport was inaugurated.

Last May, it also announced that for the second half of September Veracruz will be added as, and frequencies will be increased on three routes. Thus, Aeroméxico would be carrying out 900 monthly arrival and departure operations from the AIFA with a monthly offer of more than 100,000 seats, plans that, at least for the start of August 15, were already limited.
