(JUNE 30th, 2022).- Mexico is going through the fifth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic, which so far has only represented a significant increase in infections.

The Ministry of Health reported on Thursday, June 30th, that Mexico adds 6 million 34 thousand 602 cases and 325 thousand 716 deaths from COVID-19.

In the last 24 hours, the country registered 24,537 infections and 47 deaths from the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.

The country is going through the fifth wave of the pandemic, which so far has only represented a significant increase in infections.

The number of active cases continues to grow, with 143,129. The states with the highest incidence rates per 100,000 inhabitants are Mexico City, Baja California Sur, and Quintana Roo.
