Aeromar will connect Chetumal with Cancun and Guatemala

Aeromar announced that it will connect Chetumal with Cancun and Guatemala, which has the purpose of facilitating transportation for people who want to visit the Mayan route.

“At Aeromar we see a huge opportunity for recovery in the domestic market, we believe that in the coming months it will be very dynamic and that is why we are betting on new routes and destinations that we had not explored,” said Juan Ignacio Rossello, Commercial Director of the airline.

The Chetumal-Cancún route will begin operations on May 30 on Monday, Tuesday and Friday, while the section to Guatemala will be on Monday, Friday and Sunday, both routes with ATR 72-600 aircraft, which has a capacity for 72 passengers. Therefore, the expectation is to transport more than 3,000 passengers per month.

The Secretary of Tourism of Quintana Roo, Bernardo Cueto, said that the south of the state has great destinations that offer a unique tourist product offer.

“I am sure that with this new route more tourists will decide to visit, explore and continue visiting the Grand Costa Maya , let us continue promoting natural wonders, regardless of whether it is north, center or south, Quintana Roo is a guarantee of good service and spectacular experiences” , he mentioned.
