President Andrés Manuel López Obrador met with actresses, actors, and film directors at the National Palace.

Derived from the meeting held on Tuesday afternoon, the Mexican president reported that they agreed to take the cinema to the most remote communities in the country.

Actress Arcelia Ramírez and actor Jorge Zárate were present at the meeting.

Last February, López Obrador met with the actor Damián Alcázar, as well as with the filmmaker Epigmenio Ibarra, of whom he said: “the two, without ceasing to be independent, are authentic defenders of the 4T. They do not presume to be on the left and they are; nor, like others, do they pretend to be liberals and act like conservatives.”
