As of May 16, the modules will open in these municipalities

As of May 16, the state of Baja California Sur will have five modules to carry out the process of regularization of imported vehicles, the offices of Los Cabos, Comondú and Mulegé will be added to the office located in the state capital; This was announced by the State Secretary of Finance and Administration, Bertha Montaño Cota.

“We are going to open the modules in the municipalities to start serving the largest towns in each municipality, we think we are going to be there until the regularization period ends. In La Paz we are doing very well, we have practically reached 1,500 regularized vehicles, the flow of regularization has already begun to be more dynamic, ”he said.

In the south of the state, two modules will be installed, one in Cabo San Lucas on the road to Todos Santos and Las Brisas Avenue; another in San José del Cabo, on Professor Juan Pedrín Castillo street between Braulio Maldonado and February 5 in the Zacatal neighborhood. Likewise, to the north of the entity they will be located in Ciudad Constitución, Calle Esgrima and Cervantes del Río of the Olympic subdivision; and in Santa Rosalía they must go to the facilities of the Comprehensive Port Administration (API) in Mesa México.

The head of the secretariat explained that very few people from other municipalities came to La Paz because:

“We made announcements and we were inviting them not to come, not to pay the cost of transportation, that’s why we only had a few cases that we attended to, but now we hope that there will be more flow by municipality.” And he added that they estimate to open the Loreto module at the end of May or in the first days of June.

Montaño Cota said that they currently receive around 65 vehicles a day in the fiscal yard of Chametla, in the municipality of La Paz, for their physical inspection; He added that on average they give information to 200 people every day, but many do not make it to their appointment to complete the process.
