With the Robotics Club, the Government of Zacatecas will bring children closer to science and technological innovation

Zacatecas. To awaken interest in science in the new generations and promote the development of their technological skills, the Government of Zacatecas, headed by President David Monreal Ávila, will carry out the Club of Robotics, aimed at students from 10 to 16 years old.

The Zacatecas Council of Science Technology and Innovation (Cozcyt) invites Zacatecan children to participate in educational training, in charge of the Interactive Center of Science and Technology of Zacatecas Zigzag, responsible for developing the themes of the six modules that make up the program.

The Zigzag Director, Atenea Morales Samaniego, said that the 13 Saturday sessions will be from May 7 to July 30, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., in which they will be able to build and program a robot to walk and detect objects; as well as learn basic concepts of electronics and use of components.

The activities will take place in the Zigzag Maker Space, for a maximum group of 20 members, on the topics of Arduino, HTML, 3D Modeling with Openscad, 3D Printing, Laser Cutting and Electronics, taught by specialized Cozcyt staff.
