Set to break ground in May, Fairmont Heritage Place Mayakoba on Mexico’s Riviera Maya is offering one-twelfth fractional-ownership opportunities in 30 residences by the Miami-based firm SB Architects (St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, Puerto Rico; Calistoga Ranch, Calif.; the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua, Hawaii). The interiors, by Los Angeles’s Rodrigo Vargas Design, will have a contemporary Mexican feel. Each of the residences will feature decor with such materials as limestone and dark woods, and will offer a full kitchen, an open living and dining area, and an outdoor plunge pool.
The units, to be completed by June 2014, will sit adjacent to the Fairmont Mayakoba resort, where fractional owners will have access to a range of amenities, including a private lounge with a bar, fitness center, swimming pool, and recreational areas for kids and teens. Owners will also have the opportunity to exchange their usage time in Mayakoba for time at other properties in the Fairmont’s Registry Collection program, including the Fairmont Heritage Place Franz Klammer Lodge in Telluride, Colo., and the Lower Mill Estate in Gloucestershire, England.
Prices at Fairmont Heritage Place start at $169,000 for a three-bedroom, 3,800-square-foot unit, and at $239,000 for a four-bedroom, two-level property as large as 6,500 square feet.
