PLAYA DEL CARMEN.— Tourists who were at Gaviota Azul beach, in Cancun, Quintana Roo, found human remains, for which they immediately informed the authorities. While in Playa del Carmen, in the same state, two people were killed and dismembered.

In the first case, according to the first official reports, the human remains found could correspond to a victim of organized crime, and it would be the spine, a femur, and also part of the pelvis. Experts from the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), agents of the Navy, and also from the Quintana Roo Tourist Police arrived at the scene after the report was made by tourists to the emergency number 911.
The discovery made by the Mexican tourists occurred in the area of kilometer 9 of Kukulcán Boulevard, located in front of the Hyatt Ziva Hotel, in the middle of the hotel zone of Cancun, in the municipality of Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo.
The discovery occurs at a time when Francisco Luis Alberto Talavera, originally from Paraguay, who disappeared in Cancun a little over a week ago, is still missing.
