Mexico will face Guatemala in Orlando on exhibition match

The Mexican Football Federation and Soccer United Marketing inform that the MexTour 2022 will begin on Wednesday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. local time, 7:00 p.m. Central Mexico, when the Mexican National Team faces Guatemala in the newly renovated Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, one of the candidate cities to host the 2026 FIFA World Cup matches.

The SNM has faced Guatemala 35 times, of which Mexico has won 23 games, lost four and there have been 8 draws. The most recent meeting was the one held in Dallas, Texas, on July 14, 2021, within the Concacaf Gold Cup, where Mexico defeated Guatemala 3-0.

Camping World Stadium, located just minutes from downtown Orlando, seats 65,000 spectators. It has been recently renovated with an investment of 60 million dollars, adding premium hospitality areas and additional seating. The stadium has a rich soccer history, having hosted matches at the 1994 FIFA World Cup and the 2016 Copa América Centenario.

The Mexican Tour returns to Orlando for the first time since 2015 when Mexico drew 2-2 with Costa Rica against nearly 55,000 fans.

Tickets for the match will go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 4 at 10:00 local time, via www.MexTour.com. Fans present must comply with all health guidelines of the Mexican Tour, the stadium, and local authorities. Fans are encouraged to register at www.MexTour.org to receive the latest ticket information and preferential access to ticket purchases, which will be limited.
