One of the 10 most wanted people by the FBI arrested in Jalisco

In a joint operation, the Zapopan police, personnel from Interpol, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) detained in Zapopan, Jalisco, a subject who was on the list of the 10 most wanted by the FBI charged with the crime of murder.

The man identified as Octaviano Juárez Corro, 48 years old, had been a fugitive for 16 years and had a search card issued by the US agency in the state of Wisconsin.

Juárez Corro is accused of first-degree murder for having participated in the murder of two people and the attempted murder of three others in Milwaukee County on June 1, 2006.

After committing the crimes, the person involved fled the United States to enter Mexico, where he remained hidden until he was detected by municipal police officers in a routine inspection that took place in the Paraísos del Colli neighborhood.

Therefore, he was sent to the Attorney General’s Office (FGR) to carry out the extradition process and face trial in court in the United States.
