The Spanish hotel chain Riu revealed that during 2022 it will remodel five of its hotels while in parallel they currently have eight new properties under construction, according to ‘Reportur‘.
These reforms are concentrated in Portugal, Cape Verde, Mexico, the Canary Islands, and Mauritius Islands, according to “Desarrollo” a specialized newspaper for hotel investors.
The chain owned by Carmen and Luis Riu together with Tui also has works underway in Africa, the Caribbean, North America, and the Indian Ocean, and more specifically, talking about our region, RIU has two hotels under construction in Cancun and one more in Jamaica.
