Puerto Vallarta, in collaboration with the Municipal Government of Vallarta, presented information and the route to follow to residents of the Conchas Chinas and Las Amapas neighborhoods to reincorporate, in principle, drinking water and drainage after the loss of a section of Santa Bárbara Street that has affected the continuity of these basic services.

The general director of the operating body, Salvador Llamas Urbina, attended a meeting with residents of this area of the city, to whom he expressed all his support, as well as that of the mayor Luis Alberto Michel Rodríguez, so that in five weeks, they can count on the drinking water service with the customary quality provided by SEAPA L and which they enjoyed before the collapse of said road and consequently of the hydrosanitary infrastructure.

It was a frank and entertaining dialogue, in which Llamas Urbina, accompanied by directors and departmental heads, dispelled doubts and promised to start an anticipated infrastructure replacement work, either by the construction company involved in the accident or in case it does not do so, by the operating body, in which the legal situation of the private company is resolved.

It indicated that in said case the costs would be derived to whoever is responsible in the litigation since the patrimonial damage to the infrastructure of SEAPAL Vallarta amounts to 3.2 million pesos, but the most serious thing is that it affects the quality of life of hundreds of families.

“Today we are with you to take the bull by the horns, to offer you a solution to a problem that was raised by a third party; if the contracting company does not want to carry out the work, it will be SEAPAL who will do it in the next few days, ”said Salvador Llamas.

Salvador Llamas highlighted the importance of going out to the streets to go where the problems arise in order to know first-hand the most prevailing needs of the population.

The announcement was received with joy and approval by the attendees, who gave their vote of confidence to what was expressed by the directors of SEAPAL in the approach.
