This colonial city is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Mexico. San Miguel de Allende is one of the 10 Mexican cities declared by UNESCO as World Heritage.

This wonderful city is characterized by having an international influence that gives it a unique character and permeates artistic and handicraft activities.

For this reason, there are many craft stores and art galleries that show the richness of the combination of different worlds and in which you can find unique pieces.

In San Miguel de Allende, there are a lot of activities for visitors. You can visit the Chapel of San Miguel Arcángel in the neo-Gothic style. There are also hotels and restaurants for all tastes and budgets. During the Christmas season, the city is filled with Christmas lights and decorations.

One of the most recommended activities to do in this city is simply walking through its cobbled alleys through squares and parks, houses, chapels, and churches, all with a Mexican colonial flavor.

San Miguel de Allende is located three and a half hours from Mexico City and an hour and a half from the city of Guanajuato. It can be reached by car or bus from any of these points.
