American shot and robbed outside a bank in Tijuana

TIJUANA.- A man injured by a firearm was located on the afternoon of Friday, December 17, at the Banregio bank in the Las Brisas neighborhood, authorities confirm.  

The officers added that the events occurred in the bank’s parking lot when two individuals intercepted the victim, shot him, and took a backpack, with cash that he had just withdrawn from the bank. 

Paramedics reported that the 38-year-old man from the United States was transferred in stable condition to the nearest hospital for treatment. 

Elements of the  Municipal and  State Police attended the site,  who were in charge of protecting the area so that the Expert Services staff of the Baja California State Attorney General’s Office  ( FGJE ) could carry out the necessary investigations.
