Mérida, Yucatán, December 20, 2021.- A cyclist was shot in the center of Mérida, by the driver of a truck that caught up with him on 68 x 71 and 73 streets.
This generated tonight a broad operation by state and federal authorities that are in the area.
The red code was also activated since the entrances and exits to the city are closed by agents of the Ministry of Public Security in search of the vehicle.
The cyclist identified as Pablo LG, 40, was wounded by a gunshot and was taken to a hospital; witnesses to the event reported that the person responsible was traveling in a black tinted van.
