Just 2 days after starting the winter holidays, in the Puerto Vallarta area, the beaches already look full of visitors and bathers. Similarly, the city center and its streets are crowded with visitors.
Today Saturday, we made a visit to Playa de Los Muertos and we could see the colorful umbrellas, swimsuits, and inflatables that are already present. Vacationers and locals already enjoy the sea and sand of our beaches and taste the traditional meals offered in the restaurants.
As it was already known in recent days, the hotels will be operating at their maximum capacity, therefore, restaurants and other services will also be very helped by those who will visit us this Christmas holidays and the end of the year.
Something that is notorious and that the authorities will have to work hard is the intense traffic that exists in the most important parts of our city: streets, main avenues and especially the downtown area, traffic moves very slowly and saturates mobility.
We must remember that there is only one bridge and we must prevent the direction of the movement of vehicles, to both sides in the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood and in the Center. The authorities will have to work hard to solve the problems.
In the same way, it will be necessary to warn visitors that in this popular area, parking spaces are scarce, even the parking lot of the Colonia Emiliano Zapata in the Lázaro Cárdenas park was at its maximum capacity, as well as in the surrounding streets. This is becoming a big problem.
For some visitors the space to park their car will not be a problem since some come in trucks. Somehow they will better enjoy our beach destination. Puerto Vallarta is expected to be fully booked by the end of the year. The return after the pandemic to the new normal seems that it is now a reality.
