119 thousand cars of foreign origin to be legalized in Chihuahua

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador announced an agreement to legalize 119 thousand cars of foreign origin that are currently circulating in the Mexican state of Chihuahua.

On Friday, December 10th, in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, the president assured that this agreement is for security to have more control of these cars in Mexico and also for the benefit of many humble people who require a vehicle to work.

Likewise, he stressed that the resources obtained from the registration of these cars will be used for the benefit of the Northern Border states.

During or signing the Agreement for the regularization of used vehicles of foreign origin, the president said that this measure is taken for the benefit of the people of Chihuahua because not everyone has the possibility to buy a new car.

He also stated that these vehicles “are very useful to most of the people for their work and taking their children to school. “So that is why we consider this a support for the people”, AMLO said.

Finally, he reiterated that the resources obtained from the registration of these cars will be used for the benefit of the people of the state of Chihuahua.
