Reliable Traveler Mexico Program and why you should enroll

1443

Membership allows you to enter quickly and easily through automated kiosks located at participating airports

If you are a Mexican, American or Canadian citizen (belonging to the Global Entry and NEXUS Programs ). The National Migration Institute has launched an action that allows you to enter Mexico quickly and safely through automated kiosks located at participating airports in the admission rooms, where you can scan your passport, provide your fingerprints and fill out the Migratory Form, which will allow you to reduce your waiting time considerably when entering Mexico.

To be a member of Trusted Traveler it is necessary:

  • Fill out the  online application .
  • Once the application has been prepared, you must go to the INM offices at the participating airport of your choice.

No minimum age is required to process membership.

Candidates must submit:

  • Valid passport (with a minimum validity of 6 months to the expiration date).
  • Signed printed application.

In case of being a foreigner:

  • Multiple Immigration Form

In the event of providing false information in the application, not proving the registration interview or having a negative background in legal, immigration, customs or animal health matters, the application for registration to Trusted Traveler will be rejected.

During the interview, the Federal Migration Agent takes a photograph of you, captures your biometric information (fingerprints) and verifies the validity of the information you present. You must wait for the positive resolution to belong to Reliable Traveler. The validity of the membership is 5 years.

During your hospital stay:

If the automated kiosk is a foreigner, it will issue you the Multiple Immigration Form with the condition of stay of Visitor Without Permission to Perform Paid Activities, with a maximum period of 180 days that guarantees your legal stay in the national territory. You can make your entry individually, in a group or as a family, as long as they are enrolled in Reliable Traveler.

Members scan their passport, place their fingerprints and enter the requested data to obtain the Multiple Immigration Form, once your registration is completed at the kiosk, you must go to a Federal Migration Agent for data validation and stamp of your entry to Mexico.
