Boasting nine bays and 36 beaches, Huatulco is a pristine town on the coast of Oaxaca that overlooks the Pacific Ocean.
Visitor accommodations are upscale without being flashy, and protecting the environment is one of the town’s top priorities.
As such, buildings cannot be taller than six stories, and much of the lush natural landscape remains untouched.
Popular activities include snorkeling and ecological tours.
