A skull and a semi-buried body were found in the courtyard of the house in Tijuana’s Sanchez Taboada II neighborhood.
SDUT.- A man who was beaten with his hands bound flagged down two Tijuana police officers Friday afternoon and led them to a home where police discovered human remains and arrested two people.
Tijuana municipal police said they located the home in the Sánchez Taboada II neighborhood after a person escaped from being tied up, beaten, and held against his will there. He flagged down uniformed officers who had been patrolling the area.
The beaten man identified two suspects, who were trying to flee from the house when officers arrived, according to a spokesman for the Tijuana Police Department.
Police arrested the men, ages 31 and 45. Mexican police do not release the full names of defendants unless they have been convicted in court.
While searching the property, Tijuana police said they discovered a skull and a semi-buried body in the courtyard of the home. Detectives from the state Attorney General’s Office of Baja California were called to the home to investigate further.
