Welcome to the exciting new fashion house MARCELO CHIC created by talented Mexican designer Marcelo Lopez. He designs and makes Couture for both doggies and humans in his hometown of Mérida, Yucatán, México.
You can now visit him personally in Mérida with your pet doggie and try on a selection of lovely jackets and even be measured for your very own custom-made garment. Sundays from 8.30 AM to 1130AM at Zinc Restaurant Paseo Montejo opposite the twin houses.

When Marcelo adopted a cute chihuahua Cookie he found it very difficult to find quality clothing that fit properly and made her look stylish. So he decided to create a fashion line especially for her. Of course, he still loves to create gorgeous Fashion for well-trained humans. Quality Custom Clothing for Canines…and humans!

Cookie´s Story
Marcelo adopted a chihuahua in January 2020 and called her Cookie. A few weeks later he successfully graduated in Fashion and Design at the University of the Valley of Mexico (UVM) in Mérida, Yucatan. Shortly afterward little Cookie broke her front leg, but luckily Marcelo found a miracle surgeon who saved her leg. Her bravery inspired Marcelo to create her own fashion brand, especially after he discovered how hard it was to find stylish quality fashionable doggie clothes that made her look good. Now Cookie is “top dog” and model at MARCELO CHIC!
