The Celebrity Millennium cruise ship arrived in Puerto Vallarta this Saturday, flying the Maltese flag, from San Diego, California, docked at 12:00 hours at the Puerto Vallarta maritime terminal with 1,142 passengers and 841 crew members.

The huge boat, the leader of its eponymous class, attracted attention. Delivered in 2000, she is the oldest operating ship in the Celebrity fleet. It became the world’s first cruise ship to use a gas turbine power plant

In the summer of 2021, Celebrity Millennium joined Celebrity Edge to become the second ship in its fleet to restart operations in North America following the pandemic. On July 23, she became the second ship in the world to resume Alaska cruises.

On a new route, its passengers and crew were able to enjoy this weekend the attractions and services of Puerto Vallarta. At 8:00 p.m. it would set sail for Central America.

Also on Saturday, the United States Coast Guard USS Wayne E. Meyer entered the bay, which anchored off Puerto Vallarta, where it will remain until noon on Monday, after stocking up with water and supplies.
