The Mexico City Metro reported on Tuesday, October 5th, there was a power cut on Line B due to the rescue operation of a puppy that was stranded hiding by the train tracks of the Nezahualcóyotl station.

Through its Twitter account, the STC alerted users to a significant influx of users on the line that runs from Ciudad Azteca to Buenavista and urged them to take precautions.

At 8:05 p.m., the Collective Transport System (STC) indicated that the waiting time in the stations of Line B is five minutes, a situation that can be complicated due to the presence of rains in different parts of the city.

The influx of trains on this line was moderate when the rescue operation took place.

The dogs and cats that are rescued within the Metro facilities are sent to the Canine Transfer Center, where they are given veterinary care prior to being given up for adoption.

The Canine Transfer Center is located on Avenida de las Culturas s / n, Colonia El Rosario, in Azcapotzalco, in front of the Colegio de Bachilleres 1 Metrobús station. The opening hours are from 10:00 to 17:00 on Monday to Sunday.

The adopted canines are delivered bathed, sterilized and dewormed by the CTC.
