The Ajijic Cultural Center (CCA) and the Ajijic DIF will serve as shelters for affected families in the Alseseca, La Canacinta, El Bajío, La Cristina, La Mojonera, and Bugambilias neighborhoods, on the border with the municipality of Jocotepec.

Civil Protection of the State of Jalisco and elements of the National Army are in the affected places and support the cleaning actions of the material carried by the currents, on the Chapala-Jocotepec highway, as well as in some homes.

The municipal government of Chapala has urged citizens to support affected families with non-perishable food, as well as cleaning supplies, personal hygiene, and clothing in good condition.
