Mexico City International Airport (AICM) Benito Juárez will suspend operations between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. next September 16, due to the commemoration of national holidays.

The closure to landings and takeoffs of commercial flights is due to the fact that in that period the military airshow will be held, as part of the commemoration of the CCXI Anniversary of the beginning of the Independence of Mexico, as every year and in accordance with the national aeronautical authority Through NOTAM A4335 / 21 (Notice to Airmen or Information for Aviators), the Capital International Airport will be closed to air operations, both commercial and official.

The foregoing was notified in advance to the airlines in order to anticipate their operations. This measure is applied in a coordinated manner between the civil-military authorities (Federal Civil Aviation Agency, Secretariat of National Defense) and the Airport.
