44 Haitian illegal migrants caught in Monterrey

On Sunday, September 12th, personnel from the National Migration Institute detected 44 undocumented Haitians who arrived at the Monterrey bus station aboard a bus.

The migrants were detected and secured with the support of the Monterrey Police, who located the 44 Haitians in the Central de Autobuses.

The migrants were traveling on a Transportes Frontera bus, bound for the United States, and the police report indicates that around 6:20 a.m., agents of the Monterrey Police received the report at the bus station, so they immediately approached one of the platforms of the facility.

Personnel from the National Migration Institute were already present at the site, conducting the corresponding review.

In the bus, there were 22 men, 16 women, and six children, all of them from Haiti.

The federal authorities were in charge of transferring the Central Americans to their facilities in the municipality of Guadalupe to carry out the corresponding procedure and return them to their country of origin.
