As part of Mexican Independence celebrations, Niagara falls are painted green, white, and red

The Niagara Falls were painted in the colors of Mexico, as reported through networks by the Secretary of Foreign Relations (SRE).

According to the agency, the authorities chose to paint them that color in honor of the celebrations of the patriotic month of September , the month of Independence in our country.

In the images, the waterfalls can be seen with green, white, and red lights.

“This is how Niagara Falls was lit up last night in connection with the festivities in the month of #FiestasPatrias,” they wrote.

The image was shared by the Twitter account of the Consulate of Mexico in Montreal. “This is how Niagara Falls was lit up last night in connection with the festivities in the month of National Holidays,” as the message reads on social networks.
