Mérida would host the ChelaArte Festival
MÉRIDA, Yucatan.- Without specifying the exact location and date yet, organizers of the ChelaArte Festival announced on their social networks that the event will arrive in Mérida.
“Mérida will become a theme park with attractions inspired by the expression of light and art. Over 1.2 kilometers, there will be artistic installations, all of them created from light, ”the organizers said on their Facebook page.
What is the ChelaArte Festival?
According to information collected on the official website of the Festival, it is the first time that it will be presented in Mérida, Monterrey, Chihuahua, Ciudad Juárez, Torreón, Durango, Ensenada, Mexicali, Sonora and Sinaloa.
The concept of the event, which has an entrance cost of around 300 pesos, is to offer an exhibition of illuminated giant inflatable figures.
Likewise, there are sales of various craft beers, food, and other products, as well as artists’ samples.
The event takes place at night and is for the whole family, according to the official website.
On their Facebook page, they indicate that in the near future they will announce the details of the event in Mérida, which is still under the scourge of the coronavirus.
