Mexico extradites to the US one of the most wanted in the world

Angel Humberto Chávez Gastelum is extradited to the United States on a score of charges; among which he is accused of drug trafficking, money laundering, and murders

Don Ángel was arrested in November 2018 by Federal Police in Querétaro, to be later extradited to the United States on charges of cocaine trafficking and money laundering.

The United States Department of Justice reported that this Friday, September 3, the Attorney General’s Office handed over the drug trafficker Ángel Humberto Chávez Gastelum, alias “Don Ángel” where the United States authorities gave him judicial compliance against him.

Don Ángel has been one of the most wanted drug traffickers in the world; alleged leader of a criminal gang dedicated to international drug trafficking that operated the distribution of drugs with routes from Colombia to Central America, then to Mexico and later to the United States.

According to the Americans, Chávez Gastelum is accused of two murders committed in the year 2017 that correspond to the criminal enterprise.

The 47-year-old trafficker who landed this Friday in Los Angeles (California), faces a score of charges, including; drug trafficking, murder and money laundering.
