Mexican female boxer Jeannette Zacarías died in Canada from the blows she received during the fight she had in the city of Montreal against Marie Pier Houle. The fight held at the IGA Stadium ended in the fourth round by way of a KO in favor of the local fighter.

The 18-year-old Mexican boxer had been hospitalized for several days. Last Sunday, through his Twitter account, Mauricio Sulaimán, president of the World Boxing Council, reported that the athlete was in critical but stable condition and that the next five days would be of great importance.
