USERS INDICATE THAT NUMEROUS PROPERTIES IN THE BEACH AREA ARE IN THE SAME SITUATION AND DISCHARGE THEIR BLACK WATERS TO THE SEA

PROGRESS.– A neighbor of this port denounced the existence of a sewage drain onto the beach from a summer residence.

The complaint received a quick response from the municipal authorities, as elements of the Ecological Police came to close the drain.

The complaint was made by a user named Claudia Citlally, who published the following accompanied by two photographs:

«Someone could instruct me and explain to me, since when the drains of house or street, frankly I ignore it; they flow into the sea. In the years and many that I have lived in progress, I have never seen this allowed. My dear progressive friends, if the authorities continue to allow this, let’s forget the beautiful beaches that we have been able to enjoy in progress, we will soon find that the beaches will be polluted like many other ports in Mexico. Gross! Please share, hopefully, the authorities will do something about it. “

Upon seeing the complaint, other citizens confirmed that several properties in the beach area also have pipes to drain their pools and pour sewage into the sea, for which they asked the authorities for a thorough review of the beach area to close other pipes.

Also, neighbors recalled that the construction of a septic tank in the middle of a public highway on Calle 40 was recently reported, but despite the complaint, the authorities did not come to suspend the work.
