Two relatives of Morena’s Finance Secretary reported as missing in Hidalgo

The State Executive Committee of the National Regeneration Movement party (Morena) in Hidalgo denounced the disappearance of two relatives of the Secretary of Finance of this political party, Adolfo López Palacios.

According to information from the state committee, the two individuals that are reported as missing have been identified as Pablo López Palacios and his son Pablo López Hernández.

Both were seen for the last time while working in their crops in the community of Guadalupe Victoria, in the municipality of Cuautepec de Hinojosa.

“The local authorities are required to act promptly, as well as to guarantee the integrity of those who are now missing. In addition to carrying out the respective investigation and clarifying these facts”, a statement issued by Morena says.

"Unfortunately, the municipality of Cuautepec is experiencing a wave of violence due to criminal groups that have established themselves in the area and operate with total impunity."

Just last weekend in the community of Guadalupe Victoria there was a shooting confrontation between police officers and alleged huachicoleros that left one person dead and three more people injured, two of them women.
