MAZATLÁN.- Mayor Luis Guillermo Benitez Torres expressed that requesting the vaccination certificate in public places of the port has been the best decision of his Government, because about 30 thousand young people have applied the vaccine, in just two days.
He said that what is sought is that most of the population is protected with the application of the reagent.
The mayor highlighted that according to INEGI figures, Mazatlán has 99 thousand young people, of which a third already came to apply the vaccine to the different vaccination modules that are operating.
“We want them to be vaccinated, I believe that the announcement that they were not going to be allowed to enter any public place has served and encouraged young people to be vaccinated, a third of all young people have been vaccinated in two days,” he said .
Benitez Torres added that during the visit that the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador will hold to Badiraguato, Sinaloa, this Friday, he will request that more vaccines be sent, in addition to asking that minors aged 12 to 17 be also vaccinated. years.
