The governor supervised the start of the vaccination of young people between 18 and 29 years old in Mazatlán, where he said that requesting the vaccination file to enter restaurants and bars throughout the state of Sinaloa would involve a lot of logistics

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- Applying in the State of Sinaloa the new provisions that will be implemented as of August 2 in Mazatlán, around requesting the anti- COVID vaccination file to be able to enter bars, restaurants, nightclubs or public spaces would be difficult because it requires a lot of logistics and organization, declared Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, supervising this Monday the start of the vaccination of young people between 18 and 29 years of age.

However, the state executive recognized that this type of measure for a tourist destination like Mazatlán is positive for reducing the risk of contagion, and having greater control of the SARS-COV-2 virus pandemic.

“I think that what you are looking for first of all is, as in other countries, to ask for the vaccination record. But basically the objective is one, that people are vaccinated so that everyone can be calmer in the different public places ”.

Would it be feasible to apply it in Sinaloa, Governor?

“Well, I think not … because it requires a lot of logistics, organization, cooperation, I think what matters is that people are vaccinated,” he said.

The governor of the State, in his tour of the Convention Center, one of the four points that were installed in the municipality for vaccination, said that it is satisfactory to see young people interested in taking care of their health and being well, so it is It expects to apply around 80 thousand vaccines in Mazatlan since only in the Convention Center it is planned to close on Friday with the application of 20 thousand doses.

The governor said that the objective is for the population to be vaccinated and to be able to live in public places, for which he thanked the President of the Republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, for the support for these vaccines to be applied to young people, and thus lower the incidence and contagions.
