Civil Protection places sanitary filters at the entrances to the port, via highway

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The visitors arriving via highway to Mazatlan are greeted by a filter of sanitization vehicular installed in order to sensitize the tourists on protocols health to be met during his visit to the port.

Eloy Ruiz Gastélum, head of Civil Protection, explained that visitors who arrive onboard buses are made aware of the measures they must comply with during their stay in the city, and the luggage area is disinfected.

“ Continuing with the preventive actions to raise awareness and, above all, to clean up all the vehicles that are in transit in the municipality, and specifically in the passenger buses, we are installing this sanitary filter from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm in the afternoon, “he explained.

“The objective is to raise awareness, especially the tourist who comes by road, to collaborate with the health guidelines and protocols already established in the city and to understand that the use of a mask is mandatory at all times, everywhere and everywhere. 

He assured that all vehicular traffic that comes from the states of Durango and Nayarit is inspected.

“An average capacity per hour, which the National Guard is giving us, is approximately 340 vehicles per hour, ” he mentioned.

Eloy Ruiz announced this filter will be placed randomly and traveling at different points, so it could be at the north entrance or even inside the city.
