On Tuesday, July 20, Mexico records the highest number of COVID infections in five months

The Ministry of Health reported this Tuesday, July 20th, a total of 13,853 new Coronavirus infections throughout the country.

COVID infections during the third wave do not subside. This Tuesday the highest figure of the last five months was registered.

The Ministry of Health reported 13,853 infections of Coronavirus, the highest since the last five months, since last January 31.

In recent days, Mexico has reported infections of over 10,000, figures that have not been seen since the beginning of the year.

In addition to the infections, the Ministry of Health reported 341 more deaths from SARS-CoV-2, bringing the total to 236,810 victims.

It is also estimated that there are 85,990 active cases of COVID in the country.

The states with the most confirmed cases are Mexico City (733,303), the State of Mexico (272,431), Guanajuato (135,133), Nuevo León (133,131), and Jalisco (94,688).
